Many of the refugees who have lost their homes are not only looking for safe accommodation, but also for ways to survive. Our buildings are available for many needy people. Those who then find social housing in our city, or the surrounding area, primarily need food and hygiene ware.
Along with such people are those who have been accommodated in the parish or family houses in the parishes of our Archdiocese. Since the war has caused many of our people who wish to express solidarity and offer help to displaced persons, they are not always able to care for their countrymen and women in the long term. The parishes, which are only financed by donations (because there is no church tax in Ukraine), only have limited financial resources. That is why we would like to offer our help with the distribution of food and hygiene products.
